Ronnie Harold Young, 69, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born December 26, 1947, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Harold and Callie Tench Young.
Ronnie was a 1965 graduate of Overlea High School in Baltimore, MD. He then earned his BS degree in education from Towson State College in 1969. He was employed as a teacher in Perry Hall, MD and most recently as an insurance salesman. Ronnie attended Family Life Worship Center in Zullinger, PA.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diane Young whom he married on December 30, 1967; two daughters, Kelley and Toni; six grandchildren, Adam, Mackenzie, Madison, Payton, D’Royce and D’Monie; and three great grandchildren, Micah, Braylin, and Riley.
Services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
