Rosemary Griesbaum

Rosemary Betty Griesbaum, age 81, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Born June 19, 1934, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late John and Tillie Hronek Vistine.
A caring and generous person, Rosemary volunteered countless hours to various organizations including St. Vincent’s Orphanage in Timonium, MD and Meals on Wheels in Chambersburg, PA. She enjoyed quilting, crafts, sewing, and playing bridge.
She leaves her beloved husband of 60 years, Kenneth A. Griesbaum, whom she married on October 29, 1955. Her beautiful life will forever by cherished in the lives of her daughters, Linda G. Arbaugh (husband Steven) of Owings Mills, MD, Laura J. Lorentsen (husband Dr. Kevin Lorentsen) of Chambersburg, PA, and Lisa A. Grande (husband Robert) of Owings Mills, MD; five grandchildren, Sarah Ryan (husband James), Matthew Arbaugh (wife Kelli), Lauren Grande (fiancé Matthew Conroy), Brian Grande, and Michael Lorentsen (fiancée Alexandra Gillespy); three great-grandchildren, Landon and Emerson Ryan and Brayden Arbaugh; and three siblings, John, Donald, and David Vistine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren in infancy, Emily, Rebecca, and Andrew Lorentsen.
Rosemary’s life is one that is to be celebrated. She brought joy and love into the world every day. She was dedicated to her family and friends and leaves us with many warm memories.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Friday, April 22, 2016, in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA, where Fr. Michael Lorentsen, O.F.M. , Conv will offer a blessing service at 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 9 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA, where Rev. Fr. Michael Lorentsen will celebrate. Private interment will be at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, MD on Sunday, April 24, 2016.
