Ross Lane

Ross D. Lane Jr., 42, of Chambersburg, PA died unexpectedly at his home and went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 14, 2011. Born May 30, 1968 in McConnellsburg, he was the son of Ross Sr. and Betty Reihart Lane. Ross was the owner and operator of Lane’s Transmission and Automotive Service in Chambersburg. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughter and parents all of whom he loved very much. Ross enjoyed cars, racing, weightlifting the outdoors and loved animals. He appreciated the little things in life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nichole Bechtel Lane; his beautiful daughter, Roslyn Lenee Lane, whom he affectionately called his “Baby Munkin Gal” and his parents. He was preceded in death by his daughter Angel Lenee Lane.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 19 at 12:00 PM at Chambersburg First Church of God, 2230 Grand Point Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 Rev. Earl E. Mills will officiate. Interment will follow in Norland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Shalom Christian Academy, 126 Social Island Road Chambersburg, PA 17202 to help with education funding for his daughter Roslyn.
