Roy Creager

Roy J. Creager, Sr., age 86, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at the York Hospital. Born March 3, 1933, in Mercersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Albert R. and Zella Schultz Creager.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Creager served honorably in the Korean Conflict, he continued his service at Letterkenny Army Depot, where he retired in 1974. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and bowling.
Surviving is his wife, Betty Fisher Creager, whom he married November 26, 1956, three children, Wanda Nichols of St. Thomas, PA, Roy Creager, Jr. of Ft. Loudon, PA, and Russell Creager of Waynesboro, PA; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, numerous great great-grandchildren, and a sister, Dorothy Coldsmith of Chambersburg, PA.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at 11 AM at Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA, where Mr. Michael Fisher will officiate.
