Ruth Zinn

Ruth E. Zinn, 91, of Chambersburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Born August 8, 1927, in Kingsdale, PA, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Emma Yingling Zinn. Her beloved husband, Daniel F. Harman, preceded her in death in 1973. Ruth was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Post 1562 in Gettysburg, and the Amvets Post 2 and Redman Club, both in Frederick, MD. She also volunteered with the Bonneauville, PA Fire Police.

She is survived by seven children, Richard Harman and wife Gladys of Westminster, MD, Esther Schooley and husband Doug of Greencastle, Donald Harman and wife Dolly of FL, Timothy Harman and wife Cindy of Hanover, Sharon Collins and husband Mike of Granger, IN, Brenda Munford and husband John of Shelby, NC, and Mary Allen and husband Rick of Tampa, FL; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Jane Laughman of Hanover, Gladys Crouse of McSherrytown, PA, and Calvin Zinn of Germany.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2018, in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Lester Stine will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
