Sandra L. Enslin, age 74, of Chambersburg, PA passed away on Thursday morning March 6, 2014 at her home. Born February 6, 1940 in Scranton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Wesley E. and Alice Enslin Hall. Her husband, Arnold Enslin, preceded her in death on September 8, 2009. Sandra was a member of Marion First United Methodist Church where she was active in several church groups including, Stitch 1 Pray 2, the Bell Choir, and The Lillies. She worked for Hallmark for over 20 years in Hamlin, PA and at the Chambersburg Mall. She enjoyed crocheting, playing the bells, and collecting humming birds, apples and porcelain dolls.
She is survived by five children, Donna M. Batzel of Skytop, PA, Debra A. Lindquist of Chambersburg, PA, Lee R. Batzel of Greentown, PA, John E. Batzel of Chambersburg, PA and Amy Daniels of Gouldsboro, PA; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Edward Hall of Lake Ariel, PA. Aside from her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Stanat, and a brother, Walter Hall.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Marion First United Methodist Church, 94 Colorado Street, Marion, PA 17235. Rev. Chris Renner will officiate. Interment will be held at Valley View Memorial Park 1502 Lakeland Drive, Jermyn, PA 18433 at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 and one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday.
