Sangrelee Scott

Sangrelee M. “Sandy” Scott, 63, of Highspire, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at her home. Born February 26, 1953 in East Waterford, PA, she was a daughter of the late Robert Paul and Grace Madeline Berrier Berry.

Sandy was a 1971 graduate of the former Juniata Joint High School. She later earned her associates degree from Wilson College in Financial Management. She was employed as the Family Action Officer with the Pennsylvania Air National Guard 193rd Special Operations. She enjoyed farming, sewing and she loved her job.

Sandy is survived by her companion of 15 years, Mark Neil; two daughters, Monica Dean and husband Ronald of Doylesburg, and Lesley Scott of Shippensburg; four grandchildren, Michael Dick and Nicolas Dean, both of Doylesburg, and Samantha and Darby Scott, both of Highspire; a great-granddaughter, Lana Rosche; five siblings, Leon Berry and wife Dorothy of Port Royal, Dean Berry and wife Dorothy of Ickesburg, Roxie Swartz of Gardners, Donna Dietz and husband Stanley of Billings, MT, and Deanna Scott and husband Denny of East Waterford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St. Dry Run, PA 17220. Interment will follow the service in East Waterford Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
