Sarah Mae (Raudabaugh) Kohler, 96, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at The Village of Laurel Run. Born March 10, 1921 in Carlisle, PA, she was a daughter of the late J. Earl and Blanche Anderson Raudabaugh. A homemaker most of her life, she had been employed early in her life at the former Stanley Company in Chambersburg.
Mrs. Kohler was a faithful member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Fayetteville where she was active with the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Martha Custis Chapter #342 Order of Eastern Star, the Quincy Home Auxiliary, and the former Falling Spring Court #139 Order of Amaranth. She was an avid card sender, sending cards to family and friends for all occasions. She also enjoyed crocheting and crafts. Her husband, David C. Kohler, Jr., whom she married November 23, 1942, preceded her in death on December 15, 2001.
The last of her immediate family, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 5, 2017 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. John Rauch and Pastor Tom Willis will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday and from 1:00-2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
