Sarah Rowe

Sarah B. Rowe, 84, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Tuesday morning, March 13, 2018 at her home. Born April 22, 1933 in Orrtanna, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Nora McKenrick Brennan. Mrs. Rowe was a graduate of the Gettysburg High School. She was a homemaker most of her life. She was a social member of Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion, Charles Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW, and the Marine Corps League, all in Chambersburg. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne J. Rowe, Sr., whom she married August 12, 1953; her son, Wayne J. Rowe, Jr. and wife Vicki of Fayetteville; two granddaughters, Ami Olden and husband David and Jen Miley and husband Paul; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, John “Jack” Brennan of Orrtanna. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Fiorentini.
