Selma A. Walls, age 81, of St. Thomas, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born August 11, 1934, in Berwick, IL, she was the daughter of the late Elmer D. and Evelyn E. Rosenberry Larson.
Mrs. Walls worked at the former Stanley Company for 17 years, where she retired in 1982. She was a member of TOPS #1345 and #1160, the Chambersburg Fitness Center, where she loved to swim, and a life member of the St. Thomas Volunteer Fire Company. Mrs. Walls enjoyed playing bingo, going to local festivals, quilting, knitting, word searches, and going to her local diner, Oak Forest Restaurant.
Surviving is a daughter, Bonnie L. and husband James Kessel of Arlington, GA; one son, Randy C. and wife Wanda Walls of St. Thomas, PA; five grandchildren, Michelle Brunson of Damascus, GA, Jennifer Brinkley of Peoria, IL, Christopher Walls, Valerie Walls both of St. Thomas, and Tiffany Braswell of Arlington, GA; a grand dog, Duke; 10 great grandchildren, Brady, Hayden, and Haylee Brunson; Dillon, Nathan, and Ashton Brinkley; Brandon and Victora Smith; Mikey Harris; and Candon Walls and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Walls, whom she married on February 16, 1952 a son, Mark E. Walls, and three great grandchildren Abigail, Macon, and James Brunson.
Funeral Services to honor her life will be conducted Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 10 AM in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc. 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA, where Rev. Larry Miller will officiate. Interment will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 7 – 9 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
