Shane Sturtz

Shane Franklin Sturtz, 42, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA. Born December 7, 1981 in Bellaire, OH, he was the son of Shane W. Sturtz and Lucy A. Freeman Reese.

Shane was employed as an automotive mechanic for many years. He also worked in tree trimming and enjoyed DJing. A fun-loving person at heart, Shane loved spending time with his friends and family. He liked hunting, fishing, watching football and baseball, barbequing and using his smoker.

He is survived by his wife, Brittany L. White Sturtz of Chambersburg; one son, Blake H. Sturtz of Fayetteville; two step-sons, Zachary and Colton Cornelius, both of Chambersburg; three half-brothers, Brian D. Carpenter of OH, Kyle M. Sturtz of Chambersburg, and Saxton R. Sturtz of Chambersburg.
