Sharon Bitner

Sharon Denise Bitner, age 50, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Born November 2, 1965 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of Linda K. Schwartz and the late Ronald L. Strayer.
Sharon was a 1983 graduate of CASHS. She was an owner and operator of a daycare. She enjoyed photography, going to the beach, crocheting, and going to Cowans Gap. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 27 years, Keith A. Bitner, whom she married on May 14, 1988; two sons, Levi K. Bitner (wife Courtney) of Chambersburg, PA and Noah A. Bitner (Companion Ashley Pratt) of Shippensburg, PA; three grandchildren, Landon Bitner, Mason Shenck, and Madelyn Bitner; two siblings, Patrick L. Strayer (wife Holly) of Chambersburg, PA and Chad E. Strayer (wife Stacey) of Abbottstown, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Lemoyne Dr. #101, Lemoyne, PA 17043.
