Shawna Naugle

Shawna Naugle, age 42, of Dry Run, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at John’s Hopkins Hospital. Born May 2, 1972, she was the daughter of Jaquelyn Peterson Monninger and the late Samuel L. Naugle.

A 1990 graduate of the Fannett-Metal High School, Shawna went on to work for Knouse Foods for the last 23 years. She was a member of the Fannett-Metal Fire and Ambulance Company, where she served as the Ambulance Chief and the Secretary of the Fire Company. She enjoyed softball, fire company events, playing bingo, visiting the ocean, and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons, Darien G. Baer and Matthew L. Elter both of Dry Run, her siblings, Dena Strait (Dominic) of Shippensburg, PA, Stacie Kornman (Reid) of Brooklyn, NY, and Scott S. Naugle (Patricia) of Spring Run, PA, step-sisters, Maria Monninger of Greencastle, PA, her step-father, Gary L. Monninger, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her half-brother, Timothy L. Martin, half-sister, Kathy Lea Martin, and step-brother, Keith L. Monninger.

Funeral services to honor Shawna’s life will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:30 PM at the Agett-Geisel Funeral Home 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA; where Rev. James Fox will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Upper Path Valley Cemetery.
