Shelby Secrist

Shelby J. Secrist, age 77, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away at the Chambersburg Hospital on Monday, March 26, 2018. Born in Adams County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Ora and Hazel Beamer Boone.
Mrs. Secrist was a member of the Cornerstone church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, time with her pets, and time spent with family and friends.
Mrs. Secrist is survived by six siblings, Peggy Boone of Abbottstown, PA, Connie Boyd of Littlestown, PA, Frances Boone of Abbottstown, PA, Randy Boone of Wantagh, NY, Gail Funk of New Oxford, PA, and Daniel Boone of New Oxford, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Secrist in 2009 and a sister, Linda Pittinger.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
