Sherry Zimmerman

Sherry Ann Zimmerman, 85, of Queen Creek, AZ and formerly of Chambersburg, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning, November 28, 2021 at her home. Born September 6, 1936 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late John N. and Helen Bender Florig. Sherry was a graduate of the former Chambersburg High School and retired from Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe. She was a life-long member of St. John’s United Church of Christ; was a member of the Amvets Auxiliary; and loved spending time traveling. Her husband, Glenn E. Zimmerman, whom she married July 15, 1956, preceded her in death on May 11, 2016.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie L. Fahnestock and husband Richard of Queen Creek, AZ.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 3, 2021 at Parklawns Memorial Gardens with Rev. Caroline E. Saxton officiating.
