Shirley Ann Hudson, formerly of Fairway Drive West, Fayetteville, PA passed away peacefully, Monday, Dec 4, 2023, at SpiriTrust Lutheran in Chambersburg, PA, at the age of 91. She was a former resident of Terre Haute, IN, Hagerstown, MD, and Morris, IL.
Born April 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Verda E. Wassmer.
She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Hudson and her sisters, Norma Jean Wassmer and Nikki Lynn Etchison.
Shirley never met a stranger; everyone was just a friend she hadn’t met. She was a devoted member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Chambersburg, PA for many decades.
Surviving her are daughter Janet S. Boyers (Al) of Hagerstown, son James S. Hudson (Kim) of Franklin, TN, six grandchildren: Scott Boyers of Decatur, AL, Beth Boyers Regnier of Mt Airy, MD, Amy Boyers Swaney of Frederick, MD, Hannah Boyers Chaney of Mt Airy, MD, Patrick Hudson of Franklin, TN and Alex Hudson of Franklin, TN, and six great-grandchildren.
A remembrance of her life will be held by the family at a future date.
