Shirley Sunderland

Shirley A. Sunderland, 70, of Chambersburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born September 13, 1948 in Waynesboro, she was a daughter of the late Brady and Annie Reath Reeder. Shirley was a 1966 graduate of the former St. Thomas High School. She was employed with Valley Bank for most of her career as a book keeper until her retirement. She enjoyed golfing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Lester M. Sunderland, whom she married on April 17, 1970; two siblings, Brady Reeder and wife Glessie of Knoxville, TN, and Cindy Spangler and husband Everett of Chambersburg; her niece and nephew, Ronda Ranalli and husband Bob of Chambersburg, and Randy Zeger and wife Catherine of Vienna, VA; and grand nephews and niece, Nathan Ranalli and Jake and Jocelin Zeger.
