Sondra K. Williams

Sondra K. Williams, 70, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at her home. Born August 4, 1954 in Hagerstown, MD, she was a daughter of the late Curtis W. Rupert and Jean C. Barber Duvall.

Sondra was a 1972 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. She was employed at Grove Manufacturing for several years, in food services for Greencastle-Antrim School District, and most recently at World Kitchen in Greencastle. She had attended Jesus Alive Ministries in Waynesboro. Sondra enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, hunting and taking care of her dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Brian K. Williams of Greencastle; two children, John “Chip” Barnes II (Faith) of Chambersburg, Lori Jean Hepfer of Greencastle, eight grandchildren, Tyler Welsh (Alyssa Denise) of Shippensburg, Kaitlyn Goodhart (Mara) of Shippensburg, Makayla Barnes of Shippensburg, David Butts of Chambersburg, Drey Hepfer of Pittsburgh, Sage Hepfer of Greencastle, Zoe Hepfer of Greencastle and Rylee Hepfer of Greencastle; one great grandchild, Raegan Welsh; and four siblings, Curtis J. Rupert (Tina), Judy Snider, Geraldine Sites (Larry), and Della Besore. Aside from her parents, Sondra was preceded in death by three siblings, John Duvall, Ruth Neville and Donna Griffith.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Pastor Randy Davis will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
