Stanley Moats

Stanley R. Moats, 63, of Chambersburg, passed away on Saturday morning, November 7, 2015 at home. Born January 16, 1952 in Waynesboro, he was a son of the late J. Norman and Mildred E. Roof Moats. Stanley was a member of Chambersburg Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. He enjoyed trains, going to church and music.

He is survived by a brother, Norman E. Moats of Goldsboro, NC; two sisters, Saundra Mentzer and husband Robert of Chambersburg and Judith A. Hollinshead and husband Gary of Chambersburg; and his special caregiver of 15 years, MaryAnn Collins of Chambersburg.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Norland Cemetery. Rev. Dennis D. Chisolm and Rev. Jeff McCracken will officiate. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
