Steven Brown

Steven Brown, age 55, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, December 9, 2018. Born December 13, 1962, he was the son of Ray Wallace Brown (wife Connie) and Bonita Louise Harrison Watson (husband Roy).
Steve was a 1980 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. He had worked as an Auto Body Mechanic at Chambersburg Auto Body for 35 years. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, AmVets, and a life member of the Marine Corps League, all in Chambersburg, PA. Steve enjoyed riding his motorcycle spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, and camping with family and friends at Saunderosa.
In addition to his parents, Steve is survived by his loving wife, Jodie Whitfield Brown, whom he married April 24, 1982; two children, Darren S. Brown (fiancé Ashley Goller) of Chambersburg, PA and Danielle N. Fitz (husband Micah) of Chambersburg, PA; two grandchildren, Natalie and Jace Fitz; and two siblings, Missy K. Waldron (husband Jeff) and Timothy L. Brown, both of Chambersburg, PA.
A time of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 5 – 8 PM at Norlo Park, 3050 Lincoln Way E., Fayetteville, PA 17222. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Arthritis Foundation, 4811 Jonestown Rd #230, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
