Steven Alan McKenzie, 66, of Chambersburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Chambers Pointe. He was born March 11, 1953 in Chambersburg to Marvin L. McKenzie and the late Dolores Consuella Ruth McKenzie.
Steven was the proprietor of Scotland Fuels since 1980. He was also employed as a truck driver for David H. Martin Trucking and more recently, Hammaker East Asphalt Ltd. He also maintained an informational website for Truck Drivers on how to obtain a CDL license. He loved animals, especially dogs and enjoyed photography. His warm personality awarded him many loyal and dedicated friends throughout his life.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Dorian Patricia Corrales Osorno McKenzie; step-mother, LaRue McKenzie of Chambersburg, two sisters, Debbie McKenzie of Harrisburg, and Kathy Eichhorn and husband Tom of Warrenton, VA; niece, Heather Carman; nephew, Christian Carman; great nephew and niece, Alex Neil and Morgan Carman; and step-daughter, Carolina Urrego Corrales of Medellin, Columbia. Aside from his mother, Steven was preceded in death by his son, Scott Alan McKenzie.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Solomon’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4856 Wayne Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Rev. Bill Nienstedt will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
