Steven Shaffer

Steven Paul Shaffer, 52, of Chambersburg, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at his home. Born July 14, 1969 in Chambersburg he was the son of Joan M. Wingerd and the late Paul E. Shaffer.

Steven was a 1987 graduate of CASHS. He was employed at Raskas Foods, now Schrieber Foods, in Shippensburg. He enjoyed building car stereos and working on and building computers.

In addition to his mother, Steven is survived by two daughters, Cortney and Megan Shaffer, both of Shippensburg; two siblings, Michael (wife Marty) Shaffer of St. Thomas, and Carin Shaffer of Hagerstown, MD. Aside from his father, Steven was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Shaffer.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 23, 2021 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Robert Cook will officiate. Interment will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
