Stuart Lemont Long, 49, of Fannettsburg, PA passed away on Friday May 10, 2013. Born on July 22, 1963 in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of Wilbur L. and Rosalie A. (Hockenberry) Long of Fannettsburg. Stuart was a 1983 graduate of the Fannett-Metal High School. He attended the Apostolic Faith Church in Chambersburg.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister Tammy (Bill) Bair of Harrisonville, PA, and a brother Rocky (Barb) Long of Fannettsburg, PA. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces whom he loved very much; Dustin (Serena) Long & Children Owen & Ayrabella of McConnellsburg, PA; Rusty, Joseph, Joshua, & Stephanie Long of Fannettsburg, PA., Christopher (Kristine) Bair & Children Troy & Cierra of Cassville, PA, and Michael (Heather) Bair & Children Kaitlin, Evelyn, & Madeline of Cassville, PA. Also surviving are his paternal grandmother Gladys Long of Fannettsburg, and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl Long, and Harry and Elsie Hockenberry.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main Street, Dry Run, PA with Pastor William Bair and Pastor Phillip Zook officiating. Interment will follow at the Reformed Church Cemetery in Fannettsburg. The family will receive friends from Noon until services begin at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open at 11:00 AM.
