Susan Ensley

Susan B. Ensley, age 65, of Fayetteville, PA, and formerly of Brookville, MD passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Born in Washington, D.C. on January 8, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lloyd and Phyllis Edmonston Bloomberg.
Mrs. Ensley earned her B.S. from Western Maryland (McDaniel) College and her M.S. from University of Maryland University College. Susan worked as a Computer Information Specialist at NIH in Bethesda, MD, retiring in 2016 after 36 years of service. Susan enjoyed reading, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, but most of all cherished time with her granddaughter, Kaylee.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Robert “Bob” Ensley, Sr., whom she married on May 8, 1982; two children, Diana Kregloh (husband Eric) of Winterville, NC and Robert “Rob” Ensley, Jr. of Germantown, MD; a granddaughter, Kaylee Kregloh; and two siblings, William “Bill” Bloomberg of Newport Beach, CA and Jennifer “Jenni” Pritchard of Castle Rock, CO.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 1 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park, 12800 Veirs Mill Rd., Rockville, MD 20853, where Bob Cook will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27, 2022, from 3 – 5 PM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA 17202. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marh of Dimes or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
