Susann C. Neary, 65, of Chambersburg, and formerly of Bronson, MI, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born February 17, 1950 in Camden, NJ, she was a daughter of Stella Smith Formanek and the late Calvin Waters.
A homemaker, Susann was affectionately known as “Suzie Homemaker” to family and friends. She was known for keeping her house spotless. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, fishing, hanging out on the boat at the lake, and vacationing in Cancún, Mexico.
She is survived by three children, Brian Hansen of Mount Union, PA, Sherri Platter (husband Terry) of Bronson, MI, and Steven Neary II (wife Tricia) of Columbia, IN; three grandchildren, Blake Platter, Addy Neary, and Lawrence Hansen; two sisters, Mary Ann Waters of Lansdowne, PA and Jamie Kiser (husband Rick) of Chambersburg; many nieces and nephews; and her ex-husband Steve Neary of Ft. Wayne, IN. In addition to her father, Susann is preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Waters.
Funeral services will be private and under the direction of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
