Suzie Goodwin

Suzie A. Goodwin, 39, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at her home. Born March 11, 1982 in Greenwood, SC, she was the daughter of MayBell Strother Jones and the late Phil Jones. Suzie was most recently employed at Citi Corp. in the fraud department. She loved playing bingo, listening to music, fishing, watching movies, traveling and spending time with her family. Suzie was a member of K.A.C.W.M. Love Temple Church.

She is survived by her husband, Naamon Goodwin of Chambersburg; three children, Imajhiana Jones, Ariyhana Goodwin and Naaquan Goodwin, all of Chambersburg; eight siblings, Phillis Jones of Chambersburg, Jimmie Jones of Chambersburg, Lilly Bussey (Brian) of SC, Dorothy Dozier of FL, Annie Jefferson of SC, Gerald Jones (Brooke) of FL, Phillip Jones of NY and Nicky Jones of NY; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Suzie is preceded in death by her sister Bridget Jones.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 8, 2021 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Bishop Patricia Tillman will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
