Teresa Hartman

Teresa V. Hartman, age 91, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehab Center, Chambersburg, PA. Born August 31, 1923, in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Charlotte S. Bowling Eck.
A homemaker, Mrs. Hartman enjoyed spending time with family, especially during family get togethers, watching game shows, crocheting, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and listening to the radio.
Surviving are four children, Anna M. Rosenberry (husband Larry) of Chambersburg, PA, Casper “Gino” Hartman, Jr. (wife Helen) of Shippensburg, PA, Paula M. McFadden of Big Cove Tannery, PA, and Denny R. Hartman (wife Barb) of Chambersburg, PA; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great -great grandchildren; and one brother, Paul Eck of Waynesboro, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Casper Hartman, Sr. on July 15, 1983.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA 17202; where Rev. Garry Culler will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Antietam Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Rd. West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
