Terry Dunn

Terry L. Dunn, 80, of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born June 15, 1943 in Hagerstown, MD, he was a son of the late Preston and Mildred K. Zimmerman Yost.

A US Army and Navy veteran, Terry served honorably during the Vietnam War. He was employed as an Apartment Manager in Florida for many years. Terry was a member of the DAV in Williamsport, MD. He enjoyed going to yard sales, and making yard ornaments and other crafts.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Connie L. Dunn, whom he married on January 25, 1991; three children, Melissa Diroma (Dan) of GA, Terry L. Dunn, Jr. of Bethlehem, PA, and Rhonda F. Dunn of Bethlehem, PA; two step-children, Bonnie Adams (Randy) of Chambersburg, Daryl Williams (Brandi) of Pittsburgh, PA; nine grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and three half-siblings, Tim, Judy and Ricky. Aside from his parents, Terry was preceded in death by two siblings, Preston Dunn, Jr. and Tommy Dunn; and one step-daughter, Tina M. Swan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 22, 2024 in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Pastor Grant Brouse will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens where military honors will be provided by the VFW Post 1599 Honor Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
