Terry Lensbower

Terry L. Lensbower, age 51, of Chambersburg, PA passed away unexpectedly in the Emergency Room at Chambersburg Hospital on Thursday, March 21, 2013. Born October 15, 1961 in Chambersburg, he was the son of Frank and Ruth Griffith Lensbower of Chambersburg.
Terry was a 1979 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. He was first employed by Gibble’s Snack Foods and then at Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe for a combined 26 years as a route driver. A dedicated worker and family man, Terry loved spending time with his children and family. Full of life, Terry often brought smiles to everyone’s face with just his presence, positivity, and cheerful attitude. In addition, he enjoyed finding every opportunity to make someone laugh.
Surviving is his wife of 27 years, Caroline “Carol” Acker Lensbower, whom he married on September 21, 1985; two children, Christian Ryan Lensbower and Taylor Liseta Lensbower, both of Chambersburg; two brothers, Jeffrey Lensbower (wife Melodie) of Chambersburg and Gregory Lensbower of Chambersburg; two sisters – in- law, Sheree McCurdy and Lori Jones (husband Brian); one niece, Ashley Jones; and four nephews, Justin and Chad Lensbower, Ryan Smith and Zach Jones.
A Celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 7:30 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA. The family will receive friends 2 ½ hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will be private. The family requests the omission of flowers, and if desired contributions may be made payable to Caroline Lensbower, c/o McCurdy, P.O. Box 154, Upper Strasburg, PA 17265, for the future educational expenses of his children.
