The Rev. David Robinson

August 14, 1941 — June 13, 2015

The Rev. David W. Robinson, of Scotland, PA, died suddenly June 11, 2015. He was 73 years old. Rev. Robinson was formerly of Chambersburg, PA, Altoona, PA, Manchester, NH, Greene, NY, Binghamton, NY, Cambridge, MA, Houghton, NY, Erie, PA and Sandy Lake, PA. He was predeceased by his parents, Rev. Harvey N. Robinson and Mary Robinson, of Churchville, NY, and his wife of 32 years, Priscilla Morris Robinson (1942-1998).

He is survived by his son, John Robinson, of Glenmont, NY, John's wife, Andrea Wearing Robinson, and their children, Haydon Wearing, Ariel Robinson and Owen; and his daughter, Katherine Robinson, of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by his sister, Eunice Robinson Sitzer of Churchville, NY.

Rev. Robinson was a graduate of Houghton College, Houghton, NY, in 1963, and went to the Episcopal Theological School, Cambridge, MA. Robinson was ordained as a Minister in 1968. Rev. Robinson was a Parish Priest from 1968 through his official retirement in 2007 in Binghamton, NY, Greene, NY, Manchester, NH, Altoona, PA and Chambersburg, PA. Some of his lifelong interests included climbing many of the beautiful mountains in New Hampshire, downhill skiing, birdwatching, hunting, scuba diving, singing with the Manchester Chorale Society, fishing and collecting coffee pots.
