Thomas Collins

Thomas W. Collins, 56 of Doylesburg, PA, passed away at home on Thursday, July 28, 2011. The son of the late Thomas M. and Hazel Mae Reed Collins, Tom most recently worked as a forklift operator at Ventura Foods in Chambersburg. He loved his blue grass music and played the standup bass in several bands over the years.

Tom is survived by his wife Robin Blue Collins whom he married on December 10, 2010. He is also survived by two sisters, Thelma Reeder of Dry Run, and Rosalie Yocum of Willow Hill, PA; a step daughter, Amanda Chapman of Gulf Port, MS; a step granddaughter, Katherine Chapman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main Street, Dry Run, PA 17220. Rev. Marlin A. “Butch” Neil will officiate. Interment in Doylseburg Methodist Church Cemetery will immediately follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 8:30 to 10:30 AM.
