Thomas Perry

Thomas C. Perry, 55, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at his home. Born July 16, 1966 in China Lake, CA, he was the son of Nelson Perry and the late Helen Sprow Hall.

Tom was a 1986 graduate of CASHS. A US Navy veteran, he served honorably from 1986 – 2001. Tom was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic at Bowhead Logistics. He was a member of GPAA Mason Dixon where he served as secretary. Tom enjoyed prospecting, guns, spending time with his family, and he was an avid Hot Wheels collector.

In addition to his father, Tom is survived by his wife of 33 years, Bobbi K. Effland Perry, whom he married on May 28, 1988; three sons, Jacob “Jake” Perry (Sariah Test), Jesse Perry (wife Julie), and Justin Perry, all of Chambersburg; five grandchildren, Gillian Groff, Kieran Test-Perry, Miles Perry, Naomi Perry and Holly Perry; and two step-sisters, Tina Hall-Eddy and Denise Hall, both of Fayetteville, NC. Aside from his mother, Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Perry.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM in Parklawns Memorial Gardens where military honors will be provided by the VFW Post 1599 Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA.
