Thomas Seville

Thomas James Seville, 24, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at home. Born February 17, 1997 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of James D. Seville, Jr. and Johanna Cordell (husband Lynn), of Chambersburg.

Thomas was a 2015 graduate of Shalom Christian Academy. He was employed at Del Martin Screen Printing for 5 years. Thomas attended Marion Mennonite Church. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and enjoyed playing guitar and listening to music. He also enjoyed playing board games and video games, working on his car, golfing and spending time with his friends, family and his cat Milo. Thomas was a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 143 and had earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

In addition to his parents and step-father, Thomas is survived by his sister, Jaclyn Cordell of Chambersburg; paternal grandparents, James D. Seville, Sr. and wife Theresa of Chambersburg; Maternal grandmother, Cynthia Miller Gsell and step-grandfather, Harry Gsell of St. Thomas; aunt, Heather Myers (husband Shane) of Chambersburg; uncle, Garry W. Miller of Pittsboro, NC; step-grandparents, Leonard and Nancy Cordell of Chambersburg; three step-uncles, Michael Cordell (wife Jennifer), Brian Cordell (wife Victoria) and Kent Cordell (wife Debbie), all of Chambersburg; numerous cousins; and his close friend, Bridget Finniff. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Garry R. Miller.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Private interment will be at Marion Mennonite Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org or to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
