Timothy “Tim” Scot Kohler, age 58, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on December 18, 2020 at home. He battled several illnesses for the past 2 years. Tim was born on June 27, 1962 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late William C. Kohler, Sr. and Helen E. (Baker) Kohler.
He is survived by a brother, William C. Kohler, Jr.; a sister, Deborah K. Martin (Rickey); a niece, Ashley Martin Killion (Michael); a nephew Adam R. Martin (Sarah); two great nephews, Gabriel and Lincoln, and two great nieces, Abigail and Brooke; all of Fayetteville, PA.
After graduating from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1980, he went to work at Letterkenny Army Depot and retired in 2017 after 37 years of service. He was a member of the George Washington Masonic Lodge No. 143 and a member of the Landis McCleaf Marine Corp League. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, gardening and planting.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 2509 Black Gap Road, Chambersburg. Mr. Jay E. Peterson will officiate. CDC social distancing and mask requirements will be in place. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
