Tina Thomas

Tina Fickes Thomas, 52, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on February 17, 2018 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born November 22, 1965 in Chambersburg, PA, she was a daughter of Carol Ann (Brookens) Kauffman, and the late Ted Fickes.

A 1983 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Tina continued her education and earned an Associate degree in Accounting. She did business taxes for several individuals as well as income taxes. She worked at Citi Bank for 12 years. Tina enjoyed working with her hands; making crafts, jewelry and clothing. She loved wood working, painting and making Christmas and holiday decorations. She also enjoyed reading, and watching funny and scary movies. She was devoted to her husband and her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Tina is survived by her loving husband, Charles Thomas, whom she married on October 21, 1998, as well as her siblings; Christina Fickes Burns (husband Todd), Tedena Fickes O’Hara (husband Ryan), Willy Bollinger (wife Heather), and Tommy Bollinger (wife Pam).

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 150 Norlo Drive, Fayetteville, PA 17222. Rev. Suzanne Elliott will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
