Tracy Lynn Black, 47, of Greencastle, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born November 28, 1968 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Larry and Linda (Wolfe) Dehart. In addition to her parents, Tracy is survived by her husband, Charles Black and her son, Drew Black, both of Chambersburg.
Tracy was a graduate of CASHS. She was employed by the Chambersburg Hospital as a unit secretary for 10 years, and then earned her LPN from Hagerstown Community College in 2012. She also worked as an LPN for the Maryland Correctional Institute in Hagerstown and was most recently employed at Shippensburg Health Care Center. Tracy was a member of the Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599, Hume McNeil Byers AmVets Post 224, and the Bert J. Asper Post 46 American Legion, all in Chambersburg. She enjoyed traveling to the beach in Ocean City, MD.
A memorial service will be held to honor Tracy’s life at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 10, 2015 in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
