Trudy R. Smith, 56, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at her home. Born February 15, 1959 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Sarah Kohler Rotz.
A 1977 graduate of CASHS, Trudy went on to earn her B.S. in Business Information Systems at Drexel University in 1981. She later earned her M.S. in Computer Science from Shippensburg University in 2010. Trudy was employed as a Computer Programmer and Analyst at Shippensburg University.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore Smith; and two sons, Benjamin and Matthew Smith, all of Fayetteville.
A funeral service will be held in Trudy’s honor on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Pastor Tom Willis will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM and one hour prior to the service.
