Velma Weller

Velma B. Weller, 95, of Chambersburg, PA, died Saturday evening, April 20, 2013 at The Shook Home. Born December 20, 1917 in Edenville, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Erma Statler Gelsinger. She had been employed at the former Stanley Company and later at Bon-Ton in Chambersburg. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Her husband, Edgar S. Weller, whom she married February 3, 1939, preceded her in death in March of 1987.

She is survived by her brother, Leonard Gelsinger, Jr. of Williamson, PA; her sister, Violet C. Ritter of Chambersburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lois Weller Smith; and a brother, Stanley Weller.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Wedenesday, April 24, 2013 at Lincoln Cemetery with Elder Paul Mentzer officiating. There will be no viewing.
