Vesta Foust

Vesta K. Foust, 97, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Shook Home. Born April 1, 1920 in Guilford Township, she was a daughter of the late George B. and Margie Yaukey Wells. Mrs. Foust was employed for forty-two years at the former Stanley Company in Chambersburg, retiring as a Supervisor after 42 years of service. She was a member of King Street United Brethren Church. Her husband of more than fifty years, Clarence E. Foust, preceded her in death on August 24, 1991.

She is survived by two children, Kenneth Foust (wife Sharon) and Jodi Eiker (husband Jeffrey), all of Chambersburg; two grandchildren, Robin Maun (husband Donnie) and Jenna Eiker; two great-grandchildren, Casey and Aaron “AJ” Maun; three step-grandchildren, Shawn Pilgrim, Tommy Pilgrim, Jr., and Buffy Jones; and six step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 2, 2017 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Lester F. Stine will officiate. Interment will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.
