Vincent McNerney

Vincent Patrick McNerney, 70, of Shippensburg, died Saturday evening, September 21, 2013. Born July 22, 1943 in Huntingdon County, he was a son of Frances Senft Sterrett and the late Gerald McNerney.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Vince served honorably during the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed traveling, animals and was very artistic. He worked as an operating room technician at Chambersburg Hospital and was affiliated with Falling Spring Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three half siblings, Clarence P. Sterrett and wife Patricia of Scottsburg, IN, Sarah Jane Davis and husband Ronald of Shippensburg, and Frances Marie Beam and husband David James of Shippensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Vince is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Book Clayton McNerney.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
