Violet Siebielec

Violet A. Siebielec, 87, formerly of Portage, PA, died at 9:28 AM, Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at The Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville, PA, where she resided for the past 5 ½ years. Born February 17, 1924 in Portage, she was a daughter of the late August and Elizabeth Shemas Smith. Violet was a homemaker most of her life. Her beloved husband, John “Jackson” Siebielec, preceded her in death on January 26, 2008.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lucas of Chambersburg; two grandsons, Wayne and wife Elaine Lucas of Yuma, AZ, and Brett and wife Stacy Lucas of Cheswick, PA; three great-grandchildren, Sara and Lauren Lucas, and Ryan Yarwood; and a great-great granddaughter Rylan Yarwood. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Paul “PJ” Siebielec; three brothers; one sister; and her son in-law John Lucas.
