Wayne Cave

Wayne Pietro Cave age 71, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at Manor Care in Chambersburg. Born July 28, 1947, he was the son of the late John and Josephine Ilera DiGaicomantonio.

A 1965 graduate of CASHS, Mr. Cave went on to earn his Master’s degree in education from the University of Maryland. He then taught Sociology and History at CASHS. Mr. Cave enjoyed attending Native American Sundance’s and traveling to the Reservations in South Dakota. He also enjoyed fishing, hiking, Pow Wows, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving is his daughter, Madison Cave of Longneck, DE and many close friends and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mariana Perry Cave in 2017.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018, at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where friends, Mr. Glen Peak and Mr. Larry Schugam will officiate.
The family will receive friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
