Wendy Chamberlain

Wendy O. Chamberlain, 66, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday January 28, 2019 at her home. Born July 24, 1952 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas C. Osler and Doris E. Thompson Kuykendall.

Wendy was a 1970 graduate of CASHS. After her graduation from Chambersburg Beauty School, she was employed as hairdresser at Judith Mitchell Beauty Shop for 45 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, where she sang in the church choir and the BPO Elks Lodge #600 Auxiliary. Wendy enjoyed knitting, crocheting and counted cross stitch.

She is survived by her son, William L. Chamberlain and wife Jess; her daughter, Laura E. Chamberlain; and her grandson, Edward, all of Asheville, NC. Her loving husband, Theodore E. ‘Ted” Chamberlain, Jr., preceded her in death on August 25, 2018.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 4, 2019 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1811 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Caroline E. Saxton will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Monday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
