Weston Jacob Orner, age 4, of Chambersburg, PA, ran into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, April 22, 2019, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Born April 12, 2015, in Philadelphia, PA, he is the son of Jay Weston and Brooke Kennedy Orner of Chambersburg, PA.
Born with many disabilities, Weston was also a born achiever; surpassing many barriers in his life, and surprising many of his doctors. He loved to listen to music and nursery rhymes and watch videos on his Ipad and play with his toys. In four short years, he managed to steal the hearts of many people in his life.
In addition to his parents, Weston is survived by his maternal grandparents, Boyd and Brenda Kennedy of Shippensburg, PA; his paternal grandparents, Daniel and Marjory Orner of Biglerville, PA; and maternal great-grandmothers, Frances Kennedy of Newville, PA and Carol Roberts of Orrstown, PA. With heavy hearts, deep appreciation, and gratitude, the family wishes to thank the many caretakers, therapists, teachers, doctors, and nurses, who cared for Weston over the last four years.
Join us on Saturday, May 4th at 10:30am as we celebrate the life of Weston Orner. The memorial service will be held at Premier Events, 429 East Orange Street, Shippensburg, PA. You are invited to stay for a light meal and fellowship following the service.
In lieu of flowers, consider balloons in remembrance of Weston - one of his favorite things. Or memorial contributions can be made in Weston's honor to the Ronald McDonald House of Central PA.
