William H. “Bill” Dell, 82, of Ft. Loudon, PA, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Fulton County Medical Center. Born February 5, 1936 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Harmon W. and Margaret Newman Dell. Bill was a 1954 graduate of the Eichelberger High School. He drove for Lobells in Hanover for ten years and then was employed as a truck driver and safety instructor with Agway for 33 years, retiring in 1992. After he retired, he owned and operated Sweetwater Trucking for 15 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 606 in Ft. Loudon, the National Rifle Association, and Dogwood Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Smith Dell, whom he married July 12, 1964; his son, William “Jake” Dell, II and wife Lori of Ft. Loudon; two step-daughters, Kay Overbaugh of Bonneauville and Cande Fulco (Louis) of Hanover; five grandsons; one granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.
In accord with Bill’s wishes there will be no service.
