William Ronald Schoenleber, age 78, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born June 21, 1937, in Upper Darby, PA, he was the son of the late William P. and Dorothy Heimert Schoenleber.
A 1955 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Bill went on to serve honorably in the U.S. Army. He was the owner and operator of Keystone T.V. and Communications, until his retirement in 2005. An avid outdoorsman, Bill enjoyed hunting and trapping. He also enjoyed antique car collecting, boating, and amateur radio.
Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Barbara Plummer Schoenleber, whom he married on December 27, 1959; three children, William E. Schoenleber (wife Lisa) of Fayetteville, PA, Beverly S. Vagnerini (husband Paul) of Wilmington, NC, and Brian S. Schoenleber of Chambersburg, PA; five grandchildren, Tony and Joey Vagnerini and Ryan, Emily, and Brooke Schoenleber; and two siblings, Dorothy Shannon (husband Ken) of Fayetteville, PA and Rich Schoenleber (wife Linda) of Chambersburg, PA.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Rev. Suzanne Elliot will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Norland cemetery.
