Wilma Burkhart

Wilma G. Burkhart, age 85 of Chambersburg, PA; passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Manor Care Health Services. Born March 2, 1926 in Hamilton Township, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Hazel Seylar Foreman.
After graduating, Mrs. Burkhart worked for the PA Department of Welfare as a case worker. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 842 Chambersburg, PA. She enjoyed painting, gardening, crocheting, going to yard sales and auctions, Lifetime TV and her puppies.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Tammy Ward Wetzel and Mike Ward both of Chambersburg; three great grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, and Jacob; one great-great grandson, Vincent; and a brother, Dean Foreman (wife Alma) of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Burkhart and two children, Leslie Burkhart and Donna Burkhart Cook.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 6-7 PM in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA. Services and interment will be private.
