Zachary Monn

Zachary Alan Eugene Monn, age 25, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Born January 16, 1989 in Chambersburg, he is the son of Lloyd and Marcey Frey Monn.
A 2007 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Zack went on to work in manufacturing as a machinist, currently at Olympic Steel. Zack was a member of the South Mountain Fish and Game and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Chambersburg. He enjoyed hunting, video games, and sports, especially Track and Field, where he competed at the state level in High School.
In addition to his parents, Zack is survived by his brother, Tyler Monn and step-grandparents, Alan and Jean Foreman of Chambersburg and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Zack was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joyce Foreman and Harvey W. Frey and his paternal grandparents, James and Arvilla Monn.
Funeral services to honor Zack’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 11 AM at the Chambersburg Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 50 Ragged Edge Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Bishop Bryan Ferneluis will officiate. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the church. Interment will follow the service in Quincy Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
